Wendy Derouen Hebert

LOREAUVILLE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Wendy Derouen Hebert, age 40, at 10:00 am Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Tuesday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Wednesday until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Wendy passed away at 9:40 am on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at her residence.

Wendy enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors in her flower beds. She loved entertaining her nieces and nephews, family and friends, especially at Halloween and Christmas parties. She was dedicated to her family and volunteered her time at SMILE Second Street Headstart.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Kris Hebert of Loreauville; two daughters, Kirsten Amber Hebert and fiance’ Kiley Patin of Delcambre and Paylyn Marie Hebert of Loreauville; one brother, Bradley Derouen of New Iberia and one sister, April Broussard of Loreauville; her father in law, Norris Hebert, Sr. of New Iberia; brother in law, Norris P. Hebert, Jr. and Phyllis of New Iberia; sister in law, Cynthia Chataignier and husband Bryant of Youngsville and her nieces and nephews, Therin Broussard, Desmond Broussard, Shay Derouen, Bray Derouen, Tristan Derouen, Staci Swan, Kristi Hebert, Trey Hebert, Grant Hebert, Ali Chataignier and Taylor Chatatignier.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Clara Latiolais Derouen; mother in law, Shirley Gary Hebert and brother in law, Chip Broussard.

Pallbearers will be Kyley Patin, Trey Hebert, Grant Hebert, Therin Broussard, Desmond Broussard and Shay Derouen. Norris Hebert, Jr. and Drury Derouen will serve as honorary pallbearers.
