Sandra, our family was  torn apart rather than being brought closer upon Dad's passing. The greed ,mistrust and lack of compassion shown by my siblings was unbelievable. At 90 I may be the last one. I can't find Patricia so I don't know for sure. I did all i could to be fair and equitable, I did my best. GERALD

I remember you  as a young girl growing up. You always played the guitar and sang for us at family gatherings. You were the light in your mothers eyes. You gave me the nickname Sudie that has stuck with me all my life . I will miss knowing you are  here  and I will never forget you.

Chris, Billy, Mrs Sandra- Praying for ya'll through this difficult time.   I can still remember we fished a tourney at the point and Mr Heavy said we gonna win every category on the board and we sure in the hell did!   Now he can do all the hunting and fishing he wants in paradise. RIP Mr. Heavy

strangely comforting knowing I could call on him if the need was there.

Forever in my heart will be "Is Linda receiving visitors". He was truly one of a kind and he will forever be in my heart. 
When we were in our early teens he was visiting our home. I was recovering from surgery and a young man came to the door and asked "Is Linda receiving visitors". Every time I saw him afterwards he would say "Is Linda receiving visitors". He is my cousin and he will forever be in my heart.

Rest In Peace Mr Heavy. Lots of life lessons from you. 

My favorite is "You can't soar with eagles in the morning if you hoot with owls at night".

We are sorry for your loss.  Words cannot begin to cover for the loss, but we hope that you find comfort through the love of family and friends.  We did not know Mr. Helveston personally, but his wonderful legacy is on full display in Tomball.  Our condolences for your loss.

I will never forget when Uncle Wilton took me hunting for the first time, I must of been 8 years old.  I was in the in the deer stand with my Uncle Gerald, I think, it was one of my uncles.  I ended up shooting my first deer, which was a doe, that day. When we got back to camp, Uncle Wilton said "Time for first deer initiation".  Uncle Wilton raised the deer and then showed me how to gut the deer and get ready for processing.  Uncle Wilton proceeded to clean the deer and then all of a sudden, he took the the guts from the deer and then started rubbing them on my face.  I was not expecting to have the deer remains on my face, but I did not care because I just got me first deer and my Uncle Wilton was very proud of me. There are so many incredible memories that I could write for days.  I will miss you like crazy and thank you for never giving on me and loving me the way you did. You were like a father to me. I will see you again, tell Jesus "Hello" for me. You have always been my favorite uncle. I love you!!

There could only be one Wilton Helveston! What a huge,kind heart this man had. Our frequent and lengthy phone calls would always begin with him bragging about his children and grandchildren. He loved them all so very much! And Sandra was his world. I cannot tell you all how very much I am going to miss him. With all of his wonderful stories and his infectious laughter, Wilton made my world a better place to live in.

Chris and family.  I know it's gotta be a sad day even though y'all pretty much knew he was going to go at anytime. I just want to reflect a bit on 'Big Heavy'. Even though he was a tough dude, he truly had passion for whatever he did, and whatever he did, he was very good at it. He taught us a lot in those younger years and pushed us to the limit all the time until we got it. He was always trying to teach the kids how to hunt and how to fish. Everyone knew how good he was at those things.  He will be missed but not forgotten. 
Now go give those Tuna Hell tomorrow because that what he would want you to do!

What a great friend.  We had so many fun years at the deer camp.  To Sandy, Bill , Chris  and Tammy my deepest sympathy.  Heavy will be watching those race horses in heaven.

Lat loved him as a customer and a friend and always said he was one of his favorite customers ! We will miss him but know that his suffering is over. RIP Mr. Heavy !
