What a loss: a man of superior abilities..peace to his family

To Joseph Muir's Family. My sincere sympathy for your loss.  Joe was a great boss and friend for the many years I worked for and in support of him. He had a great sense of humor and you could always just go see him whenever you wanted at work. We all miss him and I pray that you are comforted by the kind thoughts of Joe that we all share.

To the Muir Family.  I offer my most sincere sympathy in your loss of Joe.  He was not only the boss, but a friend over the last 13 years that I worked for him.  We often joked about our similar backgrounds and adventures in the woods of Western NY where we both grew up.  We will all miss him.

Nancy,  Please accept my deepest condolences.  I enjoyed working with Joe for more than 13 years.  He will be missed.

My sincere and heartfelt sympathies to the Muir family. I worked for Joe at Electric Boat and I will always remember him for his humor, and his love of life, family and friends.

I was so sorry to hear that Joe's time had finally come.  I've known Joe many years and was proud to be able to call him a friend. I would like to leave you with a quote from the 18th century Scottish poet Thomas Campbell "To Live In Hearts We Leave Behind Is Not To Die".  Joe's memory will always be in our hearts.

Nancy, so sorry to hear about Joe. I would not be where I am now if not for him. We had many great times over the years. His legacy at EB has made us all proud to have worked with him. Rest your oars my friend and we shall all see you again soon enough.

So sorry for your loss. Joe was a special person. He was a big help to me at Electric Boat and I appreciate that he remembered me after I retired & asked for my support on several assignments. Will truly miss him.
