I was shocked and saddened to learn of Karen’s passing. We worked together to raise funding for the COMO tennis courts. I knew Karen to be a warm, delightful, hard working person who put others before herself. I think when many of us see those tennis courts now we will be reminded of Karen. Her memory and spirit will live on in all our hearts. Blessings and deepest sympathy to Karen’s family.

I was so saddened to learn of Karen's passing. It was the Stonington Community Center's (COMO), as well as my own, good fortune to have known her. We wish you peace during this difficult time. Always remember that those we love the most never truly leave us.
Warm Regards,

Karen was my admired and feared tennis opponent. Who could ever pass a ball when she was at the net? We missed her when she moved from Roxbury north on Lee‘s motorcycle. But she remembered the lovely walks they had on the Roxbury Land Trust‘s preserves and so left some of her aunts bequest to enhance RTL‘s quest to preserve open space forever.
Thank you Karen- a formidable LADY -we will miss.
