

Mark P. Wojtowicz, 68, passed unexpectedly on September 13, 2025. He was born July 4, 1957, to Evelyn and Max. He grew up in Carnegie, PA. When old enough, he took over the family grocery store. When the store closed he moved to Lake Worth, FL.
His greatest passion and biggest blessing was in his son, Peter. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend. Mark’s passion for helping others endeared him to everyone he met.
He was the ultimate Steelers fan with his favorite terrible towel always prominently on display. His down time was spent enjoying many genres of music with his trusty companion, Peanut, by his side.
Mark moved to CT to raise his son where he lived in Waterford, CT for 25 years. He was a meat cutter for various stores through the years, where he was always held in high regard by fellow employees and patrons alike.
Mark was predeceased by his big brother Butch. He is survived by his son, Peter; sisters, Alice Molampy and Anne La Borde; brother and sister-in-law, Max and Soledad; niece, Sara; and nephews, Greg and Andrew.

A Celebration of Mark's Life will be held on Sunday, October 26th from noon-3pm at the Pilot House, Ocean Beach Park, New London.
