Melody Lynn O'Donnell, of Mystic, and formerly of Danbury and New London passed away on August 17, 2026. She moved to Mystic two years ago to live with her mother Lorraine Gayowski and her stepfather Peter Gayowski.
Melody was born on July 22, 1977, in Danbury. Melody grew up in Danbury before moving to New London. While in New London, she acquired many friends through work. Melody was kind and tried to help all that she met. She will remember because she was spunky and full of life. Melody spent many hours enjoying music and all the animals that she had. Melody is also survived by several aunts and uncles.
A calling hour will be held at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Service, 181 Ocean Ave, New London, Connecticut 06320, on September 12, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at the same location on September 12, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
