Michael Thomas Welch

He was the son of the late Stephanie Welch (Czyzewski) and Joseph Welch of Southbridge, MA.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy and worked for Northeast Utilities Service Co. for the past 27 years as an electrician. Michael was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to go deep sea fishing with his friends and loved to hunt pheasant in the fall. He was a real outdoors man. He was kind, funny, a great story teller and loved his family and friends. He will be missed by all his nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Michael is survived by his brother, Ronald Welch of Charlton City, MA and sisters Mary Wojciechowski and husband David of Quinebaug, and Ellen Brunell and husband Robert of Forestdale, MA. He is predeceased by his brothers Joseph Welch and his wife Patricia of Belchertown, John Welch and his wife Janice of Kissimnie, FL, and sister Cynthia Welch of Southbridge.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 10AM in St. Stephens Church, 10 Old Turnpike Rd. Quinebaug, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
