To the entire family. Nick was a long time friend over the many years attending functions at the Seaside Council 17, Knights of Columbus. Our deepest sympathy to all of the family. We last saw Nick when we all were getting our flue shots at the Stop and Shop.

Dear Debbie, Donna and David. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a wonderful man and I always enjoyed our visits when I was in Connecticut. He always welcomed me with a smile and a beer and the first words out of his mouth, spoken very earnestly and inquisitively were "Anthony, how are things in Alaska? He and your mom came to visit me once here. I can tell from personal experience and reinforced with these wonderful pictures that your Dad was a happy man and lived a great life. The photo of his arms upraised with a gift while sitting in a chair captures his essence and spirit wonderfully. I am forever grateful that your parents were such good friends to my own and to me. My warmest wishes to you.

I am very sorry to hear of your father's passing. I remember fondly being your backyard neighbor and your father teaching me games we could create with little more than the things we hand on hand around us. He was a wonderful man.

So sorry to learn of Nick's passing. I have many fond memories of Nick while growing up and spending my Sunday at my Grandmother's house in Waterford and visiting her relatives in New London.

Nick was a great person with many colorful stories to share. I am proud to have his former fire helmet from New London still on display in the living room of my house.

On behalf of my family (Beth, Catherine and William), our thoughts and prayers.
