He was born on March 12, 1921 in Jezzine, Lebanon. He was married to the late Alice Hage.
In 1969, he came to the United States. He was employed at Pfizers for 17 years. He then retired to Sarosata, Florida. He moved back to Connecticut in 2010, to live with his daughter and son in law Fay and Tony Haddad.
He is deceased by his wife Alice Hage, son George Hage and five siblings, Monsignor Simon Hage, Elias Hage, Saleem Hage, Chekrallah Hage, and Azzizeh Hage.
He is survived by his son John Hage and his wife Mary of West Palm Beach, Florida, Daughter Fay Haddad and husband Tony of Waterford, Daughter Jamal Doro and husband Albert of Waterford, Daughter Hoda Miller of Las Vegas, Nevada and Daughter in law Mieke Hage. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, two siblings Halim Hage of Waterford, Marie Antipoff of New London, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was adored by all and will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 11:00am in St. Ann Melkite Church, Waterford. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in New London.
