Phyllis Clark Lee

Waterford – Phyllis Clark Lee, 91, of Beechwood Dr. Watterford, CT died May 4, 2014 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London, CT. She resided most of her adult life in Richmond where she raised her family. Phyllis was born May 2, 1923 in Hopewell, VA to Lloyd and Amy Rugar Clark. She married Ronald J. Lee on August 31, 1946 in Hopewell, VA. He predeceased her in July 1998.

She is also predeceased by her sons Andrew and Phillip and also her brothers Wallace and Bruce Clark.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Morris and husband Don as well as her son James Lee and wife Lynn. She also leaves her grandchildren Amy Jagenow, Andrew Jagenow, Paola Egeland and husband Pat, and Maurice Ramirez and wife Mary. In addition, she is also survived by her sisters Jackie Patterson, Carolyn Buyalos and husband Mike, and many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was an avid gardener and reader who also enjoyed a good game of Bridge. She will be loved and missed by her family and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on May 30, 2014 at 12:00 noon in St. Peters Church in Richmond. Burial will be private.
