Teresa Catherine Devine, of Groton, CT, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2022. Born on January 5, 1933 in Bronx, NY, she is the daughter to the late Patrick O’Shaughnessy and Margaret (Ward) O’Shaughnessy. She was a certified nursing assistant at Beechwood Manor for 18 years. She married the love of her life, the late Thomas J. Devine, in 1955.
She is predeceased by her parents as well as her husband.
She will be forever cherished by her two daughters, Maureen Devine of Groton and Kathleen Devine of Waterford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be especially missed by John and Margaret Kerrigan of Hazlet, NJ.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11 am at St. Mary Cemetery in New London, CT. A public memorial service will be held in the spring/summer months of 2022.
In lieu of flowers, Teresa’s family asks that donations be made in her name to the organization of our choosing.
