Such a wonderful man, and such a nice family.  We do think of him frequently while at coffee with the boys at the Senior center.

Great person, great family.  Fond memories of sharing Veterans Day with him at Waterford Senior Center and coffee at The Shack.

My memories of Ruddy and Pfizer are intertwined

He was such a upbeat person; full of knowledge in so many areas.  It was such a delight to have worked with Ruddy so many years. 

It was also such a treat to drive him to the Pfizer lunches when we had them.  Fond memories!!

We always enjoyed seeing Ruddy.  I knew him through the years when he would visit his cousin, Hilda, in Oakdale.  Hilda has been my neighbor since I was young.  Ruddy was always so cheerful and warm.  I’m so happy we were able to celebrate his military service at the Veteran’s Day celebration a few years back.  He was a wonderful, kind person and he lived a wonderful life.

A great man, he of the Greatest Generation, has now passed from our lives. Although gone his Spirit will always live on with us.  As a
life long friend I have fond memories of our hunting & fishing with 
little Ruddy and my father, and Big Rud.  A man of great character,

To My Big Grampy, 
It’s so beautiful to see all of the people that loved him. As a kid, he was just my pal, my card playing buddy. He used to take me to bread thrift store and we would feed the ducks at the library. He would drive me to the bus stop and sit with me when it rained or got too cold. We went on ice cream runs, and went to dinner at his favorite spots almost every other week. He loved taking care of the farm with me, mowing the grass, caring for the horses, maybe as much as I did. All too often we grow up and learn that our hero’s are not all they were cracked up to be. Not Ruddy. Not my Big Grampy. As I grew up, I learned of all of his amazing achievements and got to know him and his stories and fell even more in love with who was as a person, as a soldier, but mostly as a family man. He was a great man, one that deserves the tears being shed for him. I will miss you big Grampy! 

I feel very privileged to have known this remarkable man. I so enjoyed chatting with him as we both "worked out" at Waterford Community Center. He was my inspiration.  (When I started in Feb 2017 Ruddy was in better shape than me. .. at 95!!) I'm going to miss him. 
Ruddy loved his family and often shared news of their visits. He was such  "people person". (Among the first back when the Community Center re-opened during COVID. ) Really truly "one in a million " 

One of the best parts of our Tuesday and Thursday exercise program at Waterford Senior Center was having coffee after class shared with the “favorite” of the group,  RUDDY.   He was always upbeat, a good listener, always had such nice things to say about the Scottish ladies, and many times the only one that could remember the correct answer to the conversation rapidly circling the table.  

We will miss him,  so happy to have known him.  We too share his love of this great USA.

Our deepest condolences on the passing of your father. He was an inspiration to so many of us because of his service to this country and his spirit and demeanor.  And Warren was truly amazingly active well into his mid-ninties. Whenever he was out and about the neighborhood in his senior years, he was always so friendly and social.  We will miss him. Sending you and all your family our heart-felt sympathy, and sincerest wishes for peace and solice.
