

Bill was a quiet, kind and humorous guy whose family and close friends meant everything to him.
He grew up in Groton City and spent the majority of his life there. The friends he made in elementary school have remained his lifelong cherished friends. They golfed together, shared stories and spent every Thursday night over pizza and wine.
He was a graduate of Montville High School and served our country in the US Army. Following his Honorable Discharge, Bill attended UConn graduating with a degree in business.
Bill’s career years were spent in Food Service Purchasing and Management at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital and Foxwoods Resort Casino, retiring at age 63.
To know Bill is to understand his favorite pastimes were golfing, sitting in his favorite spot at the very far end of the beach at Eastern Point, time with his grandchildren, and traveling to warm destinations with his wife Pam.
Sports played an integral part of Bill’s life and he was a staunch supporter of the UConn Huskies, the NY Giants, and was a proud member of Red Sox Nation.
Bill will be dearly missed by his wife Pam, his son Sean & wife Nicole, his Daughter-in-law Sarah, Step-son Jason, Daughter-in-law Mallory; His Grandchildren Addy, Alina, Bryce, Kayla, Jared, Wesley, Rowan and Isabella. Bill was predeceased by his son Billy and is also survived by a Sister Gail Rusby.
Funeral Services will be Private for the family.
