Carole Ann Blum

Carole Hardy Blum, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the age of 73. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Horace “Babe” Blum, Carole is survived by her children, Paris Blum Langford, Sandy Blum, Renee Blum, Horace Matthew Blum and his wife, Brandi; and Cindy Trellue; three grandchildren, Noah, Austin, and Brady; and her sister-in-law, Maryann Blum Crutti. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Frances Galjour Hardy and Matthew Hardy and her brother-in-law, Allen Trellue.

A native of New Orleans, Carole was a graduate of Sacred Heart of Jesus High School and resided in Metairie for the past 44 years.

The children express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Lakeside and Canon Hospices for the care and concern for their mother during her illness.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Memorial Funeral Services at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division Street, Metairie, LA 70001 on Monday, December 20, 2010. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. and conclude with Mass at 1100 A.M. After Mass their will be and second line and celebration.
