Charles Rodney Fleetwood

Charles Rodney Fleetwood age 72 passed away peacefully on April 9, 2012 a life long resident of New Orleans, LA. Survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Rosemarie Baio Fleetwood, Son Rod Fleetwood and Daughter Rachelle D’Angelo and two grandchildren Rain and Graylin D’Angelo. Brother of Melvin Fleewood, Elma Caigle, Margaret Latino and Lorranie Bonnie.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy and then worked with the New Orleans Harbor Patrol. A veteran of the New Orleans Police Department with 30 years of service working in the Mayors office under Moon Laudrieu and Sidney Bartholemy where he was assigned to the New Orleans City Council Office. After retiring from the Police Department he went to work for the LA State Broad of Medical Examiners Office.

Relatives,friends,members of the New Orleans Police Department and the LA State Broad of Medical Examiners office are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at the New Orleans home of Jacob Schoen & Son 3827 Canal St. on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 12 noon. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.Condolences may be expressed online at www.schoencanalstreet.com
