Clarence Louis Meyer

Clarence Louis Meyer, 82, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012, at 5:25pm surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Rosemary Faust Meyer, after 54 years of marriage. Loving father of Linda Meyer Dominguez and Diane Meyer Hale. Loving grandfather to Megan Ashley Dominguez, Lillian Paige Hale (Lily), and William Crowe Hale, III (Trey). Preceded in death by Ronald Joseph Oddo (stepson); Susan Meyer Groomer (daughter); and Dave James Dominguez, Jr.(grandson), six brothers and two sisters. Father-in-law of William Hale Jr. and the late Dave Dominguez Sr. Son of the late John Meyer and Anna Schloegel Meyer. Survived by his brother John A. Meyer, and sisters Rita Adragna and Alma Delaune, also numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Meyer was born in New Orleans and a lifelong resident of Chalmette . He served in the Army National Guard and was retired from G. H. Leidenheimer Baking Co., where he worked as a salesman and truck driver. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends of the family are welcome to attend a funeral Mass in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St.; on Friday, July 20, 2011 at 12:00 pm.
