

Debra Almario Thibodeaux was granted her angel wings on Wednesday July 11, 2012. Preceded in death by husband, Gary John Thibodeaux. Debra is survived by her son Garrett David Thibodeaux and her loving parents, Norberto and Beatrice Almario. Her 3 sisters Natalia Dear Derenthal (Peter Derenthal), Cynthia Almario Angle (Gary Angle) and Traci Almario DiVincenti (Anthony DiVincenti), nephews Wayne and Joshua Dear, Gary Angle Jr., Blake and Brice DiVincenti, niece Christian Angle, and great nephews Daman Angle, Greyson Eckenrode, and great niece Allison Zeller. Debra touched so many people throughout her life whether it was a family member, friend, or her being a good Samaritan to a kind stranger. Although she only had one biological son, she was a mother to all. Debra was an active member of St. Cyril Catholic Church. Besides her job at BDP International, she devoted her free time to church and other charities. A woman of faith and the backbone of the Almario family, she shaped their spirituality by her tireless Christian example, (Possessing a true servants heart). Native of New Orleans, Louisiana for 53 years, but resided in Houston, Texas for the past 7 years. Debra was born on January 16, 1952 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Family and friends are invited to the visitation Thursday, July 19, 2012 beginning at 10:30 am followed with a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM in the Chapel at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans 70119.
