Earl Armstrong Sr.

Earl Oliver Armstrong, Sr peacefully passed away on October 5, 2010 at his home in Boothville, Louisiana, at the age of 96. He was a long time resident of Pilottown, Louisiana. Preceded in death by his wife, Kate Jane Staniel, and daughter Jane Elizabeth Armstrong Eddy. His parents were Charles N. Armstrong and Fannie Lory. He was the brother of the late Eva Cathcart Siegel, Nellie Smith, Nora Armstrong, Wallace T. Armstrong and George T. Armstrong. He is survived by one son, Earl O. Armstrong, Jr. (Lynn Loga Armstrong); 8 Grandchildren: Karen Armstrong Cook, Laura Armstrong Ragas, James Earl Armstrong, Kate Armstrong McGuire, Matthew Armstrong, Angela Eddy Feemster, David Eddy, and Michael Eddy; and 14 Great Grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 12:15 PM. Visitation will begin on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM, and on Friday at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Hope Mausoleum.
