Emery James Cormier Sr.

A devoted and much loved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, E.J. was born June 7, 1931 in Arnaudville, Louisiana. He was 80 years old. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marilynn Garrity Cormier; loving father of Duanne Cormier Cazalot, wife of Al Cazalot; Donna Cormier Waguespack, wife of Danny Waguespack; E. J. Cormier, Jr., Preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Cormier; Viola Stelly Cormier Bell and Step father, Sydney Bell, Sr., Survived by Step bothers Robert Bell, Malcolm Bell, Charles Bell, Sidney Bell, Jr.; Step Sisters Annette Bernard and Mona Cottam.

A loving grandfather and great grandfather of Samantha, Shannie, Lecy, Lisa, Danny, Alyson, Josh, Madison, Beau, Lily, Alyssa, Holly, Caden, Bianca and Cooper.

Friends, Family and employees of I.C. Railroad, Service Cab of Metairie, Diamond Head First Baptist Church, Diamond Head Golf Club and Winn Dixie Employees of Long Beach are invited to attend a Memorial Service from the New Orleans hoeme of Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal Street, on Thursday evening, July 21, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until service time.
