Harold Joseph Chustz

Harold “Cher”& “Stick”Joseph Chustz passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the age of 86. Harold was a native of Morganza, Louisiana, he served in the PTO with the U.S. Navy during WWII. Father of Michael A. Chustz (Darlene) and James P. Chustz (Elizabeth) Brother of Dempsey Chustz and James Ray Chustz. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Madelyn Stuart Chustz, his parents Louise Callahan Chustz and Elias Chustz, brothers Lloyd Chustz and Denzel Chustz, and sister Bernice C. Barras. Also survived by grandchildren Carmen Murphy, Brittany Ogden and Betsy Chustz and great- grandchildren Xarrell Murphy, Gabrielle Murphy and Seth McGuire. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Monday, August 1st from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 2nd visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12 Noon followed with a Funeral Mass at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans. Interment will be in Lakelawn Cemetery.
