Jacqueline Mary Levy Kerber died on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the age of 87. A lifelong resident of New Orleans who relocated to Hattiesburg, MS after Hurricane Katrina. She was a member of Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church in New Orleans East for more than 40 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph Peter Kerber, her parents, William A. and Margaret Braniff Levy and one brother, Richard A. Levy. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans.
