John Joseph Diket

John Joseph Diket, Born March 9, 1952 in Phoenix, AZ. to Earl J. Diket and Muriel Abrams. He was a long time resident of St. Bernard Parish, New Orleans and Jefferson Parish. At the age of 61, he passed away in the early hours on April 16,2013 after a long battle with cancer, leaving behind his wife, Ana M. Diket of 37 years, his three children, Virginia M. Diket, Laura M. Rosa, and John V. Diket and 9 grandchildren, Sidney “Eric” Ford, Juan Rosa, Andrew J. Ford, Gerson N. Rosa, Jr., Nikloas N. Rosa, Gaven B. Diket, Connor V. Diket, Cylis W. Diket and Anabella C. Diket. He survived by sister Delardene Diket. John was a Merchant Marine, Criminal Sheriff Deputy, and refinery worker. He was and always will be an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend. We ask you to please join us on Friday for Visitation on April 19,2013 at 6 pm and Saturday April 20, 2013 at 9am.
