John "Johnny" D. Niehues, Age 75, surrounded by family departed this life on Friday, May 6, 2011. Retired Fireman of New Orleans Fire Department, native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Mandeville, LA. Son of the late Ethel Niehues and Edward F. Niehues. Beloved husband of Nora Iris Niehues. Father of Penny Getz (husband Robert), Tammy McGuire (husband Michael). Grandfather of Christopher McGuire and Jonathan McGuire. Brother of Edward Niehues, MaryAnn Niehues Colclough and Audrey Piglia. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
