Kathlyn Julia Veque

VEQUE Kathlyn Julia Luening Veque passed away on November 13, 2010 at the age of 94. Mrs. Veque was born in New Orleans, La. on March 8, 1916 and lived there until 2005, when she moved to Huntsville, Alabama to be closer to family. She was the beloved wife of the late Emile J. Veque. Sister of the late Warren Luening, Leslie Luening, Gloria Probst and Rita Roig. She is survived by her son, Emile "Sonny" Veque and his wife, Catherine Laurie Veque, her granddaughter Michelle Veque Patterson and her husband Wesley Patterson and sons, Brandon, Derrick, and Nicholas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a Catholic Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, La. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and the service will follow at 1:00 PM. Internment will be in St. Roch #1 Cemetery in New Orleans.
