

LAURA B. FALCON, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died at home on October 13, 2010. Born in Houston, Texas, she was 95 years old. A long time resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, Laura moved to Alexandria after Katrina, Laura was proceeded in death by her parents James and Katherine Bavouset,her husband, Francis Falcon and son Raymond Scott Falcon. She is survived by 7 children and their spouses; Michael and Debbie Falcon, Judy and Cecil Raggio, John and Nunie Falcon, Steven and Sherry Falcon, Aimee and Robin Alexander, Bill and Sandra Falcon, James and Karen Falcon, 20 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Joan Naschke of Houston, Texas and Mary Jane Davis of Dallas, Texas.
Laura was an avid bridge player. She was especially fond of playing with her bridge buddies at the Ace Bridge Club in Alexandria. She loved needlework, knitting and was a master puzzle maker.
A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 12:30 PM at
Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories, Metairie, La.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons Michael and Matthew Raggio, Gabriel and Nicholas Alexander, John, Christopher, Zachary, Austin, Scott, and Matthew Falcon.
