
Louise Ryder Bush died on Friday April 26, 2013. She was born on August 14, 1920 in Childersburg, Alabama, daughter of the late Annie Louise Ryder Bush and Isaac M. Bush. Preceded in death by her brothers, the Reverend Jack Keith Bush and Ward Henry Bush. She is survived by Nephews David Keith Bush, Timothy Ward Bush and Christopher Perry Bush; Niece Mary Nan Whitmeyer; Cousin Louise Horn, and 11 Great-Nieces and Nephews and 5 Great-Great-Nieces and Nephews. She will also be missed by many long-time friends, neighbors and parishioners. Louise graduated in 1942 from Alabama Women’s College with a degree in Business Administration. She Joined the Red Cross and was a WAC in World War II, working as a Procurement Officer for the Department of Defense. Louise was a long-time resident of the French Quarter, and a member of the Vieux Carre Property Owners Association and Patio Planters. She was also a long-time parishioner of St Anna’s Episcopal Church, serving on their Vestry and as Junior Warden and Senior Warden. Funeral /memorial service will be held at St. Anna’s Episcopal Church, 1313 Esplanade Avenue at 3:00 pm on Saturday May 4, 2013. Condolences may be expressed at www.schoencanalstreet.com
