Marie Chigoy passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Chigoy. She was the daughter of the late Adelna and Pierre Ducote. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Rita Rizzuto, Marjorie Bouquet, Bertha Ducote and Osley Ducote. She is survived by her two daughters Beverly Carey and Cynthia Sevin, three grandsons Justin and Jason Carey and Bradley Sevin and one great granddaughter Abigail Carey. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home 3827 Canal St. at Noon on Thursday September 20. Visitation will begin at 10am till Mass time.
