Marjorie W. Gough

Marjorie Irma Whitley Gough, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Lakeview for many years, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the Henry P. Gough, Jr., she is survived by her daughter, Erin Gough Farthing, two grandchildren, Donovan Archote husband of Betty Nguyen and Christopher Archote husband of Stacie Champagne, two great grandchildren, Mason and Madison Archote. Proceeded in death by her parents, Charles and Elenor Philips Whitley and a brother, Hilary C. Whitley. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Americare Hospice, St. Theresa’s and St. Anthony’s for the kind and loving care extended to Mrs. Gough.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 14, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. & 9:00 P.M. and on Monday, August 15, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon. The funeral Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 Noon followed by interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Guest book may be signed online at www.schoencanalstreet.com
