

Mary A. Boudreaux ("Mim") of Metairie, Louisiana, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012. She was 99 years old. Mrs. Boudreaux was born April 21, 1913, in Buras, Louisiana, to Josephine and Fortune Ancalade.
Mrs. Boudreaux, a New Orleans resident for most of her life, was the longtime proprietor of the Laurel Grocery located in Uptown New Orleans. Following her retirement from the grocery business, Mrs. Boudreaux was employed by the Loyola University School of Law for many years.
Mrs. Boudreaux is survived by two sons, Rudolph and Thomas Boudreaux, two grandchildren, Craig Boudreaux (Suzanne) and
Toni Boudreaux, four great-grandchildren, Adair Boudreaux, Avrill Boudreaux, Lauryn Brooks, and Jordyn Mills, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held at Jacob Shoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, on Friday, September 14, 2012, between the hours of 10 am and noon.
