Mary Krohn Boudreaux

Mary Louise Krohn Boudreaux, a homemaker, passed away peacefully at her home in New Orleans on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:36 am. She was 93. She was born February 5, 1920 in New Orleans. Beloved wife of the late Ignace Tousaint (Shim) Boudreaux, daughter of the late Loretta Margaret McCormick Krohn and Charles David Krohn. Mary is survived by her children, Charles (Trish) Boudreaux, Marie Bourgeois (Bobby), Carol Wallace (Gary), and Mark (Gwen)Boudreaux; seven grandchildren, Caliste Boudreaux Connole (Dan), Charles Boudreaux, II, Gary R. Wallace, Jr., Glen Wallace (Leslie), Scott Bourgeois (Lore), Jeremy Boudreaux (Amy) and Jessica Boudreaux Battaglia (Adam); thirteen beautiful great grandchildren, Mitchell and Lauryn Boudreaux, Nic and Sami Connole, Marin, Brock and Sawyer Bourgeois, Gavin and Grayden Wallace, Will and Alek Boudreaux and Jack and Ciri Battaglia, also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Sister of the late Loretta K. Daigle, Charles T. Krohn, Theresa K. Willis, Albert J. Krohn, Margaret K. Willis, Agnes K. Rossie, Joseph Krohn, Frances Agnes Krohn and Katherine K. Smith.

Mary was a loving, caring and devoted mother and grandmother, known to all as Grandma BEE. She loved gardening and shopping, especially at Wal-Mart Slidell in her later years. She will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass to be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 12:00 Noon with visitation at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will be in St. Patrick #1 Cemetery.
