Mary Egan Schulz

Mary Egan Schulz passed away on Oct. 27, 2013 at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Warren Louis Schulz and her parents Mary Arsina Huxen, Joseph Francis Egan and her son Carl Raymond Schulz (Cherie) and daughter Eleanor Mary Schulz. Mary is survived by her children Warren Louis Schulz Jr. (Bonnie) and Wendy Ruckman (Douglas); grandchildren Tiffany, Kirk and Eric Schulz; Erin Breland, Doug Jr. (Jennifer) and Christian Ruckman; 4 great grandchildren as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary graduated from Eleanor McMain High School and attended Loyola University. She was a resident of River Ridge since 1947 and was a founding member of St. Matthews Church, The Sauve Road Club and a member of the New Orleans Country Club. Mary and Warren retired to Pass Christian, MS where they became involved in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, PCYC, and PC Garden Club activities. She lived an active life traveling, entertaining and weekly luncheons with family and close friends.

The family would like to thank the doctors at EJGH. We will all miss her smile, laughter and bright eyes.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Sat. Nov. 2 at Noon at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am and continue until Mass time.
