Michael Evans passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the age of 75. He was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. He was the beloved husband of Sylvia Evans, and father of Desiree Evans. He was the son of the late Delores Molero Perez and Marco Evans. He is also survived by Desiree’s long time companion, Greg Faust, whom he considered the son he never had, as well as a host of cousins, friends, and other relatives. He was a long time employee to Kaiser Aluminum and Harrah’s Casino.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 12:15 PM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will be St. Roch Cemetery #1. Express condolences at www.schoencanalstreet.com.
