HUMPHREYS Michael Walter Humphreys departed this life on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the age of 54. He was born in New Orleans, LA, raised in River Ridge, LA, and has resided in Luling, LA. Loving father of Bridgit, Kyle, and Elizabeth Humphreys. Grandfather of Emersyn Humphreys. Beloved son of the late Clifford Humphreys and Claire Bozonier Humphreys. Brother of Bruce Humphreys, Sandy Humphreys, and the late Clifford Humphreys, Jr. He is also survived by a multitude of other relatives and friends. Michael was a free spirit with a heart of gold. He was an avid gardener and conservationist who found beauty in everything. Mike never met a stranger and was the life of the party. He will be missed deeply by all. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 6:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm until service time.
