Michael LaForte Sr.

Michael Angelo LaForte, Sr.,died peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 25 2012. He was 91 years old, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Dorothy Chauvin LaForte and parents Michael Angelo LaForte and Margaret Largabo LaForte. Survived by his loving son Michael LaForte, Jr. and wife Edra LaForte; grandfather of Shelley LaForte Dupuis and Sarah LaForte, Great-grandsons Parker, Preston, and Kyle Dupuis. He served proudly in World War II.

Relatives and friends of the family are welcome to attend a funeral service in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St.; on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 12:00 pm.
