Miriam Hampton Duvall

Miriam Rita Hampton Duvall passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the age of 88. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Kenner, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Reynolds Duvall and her son Donald DeBourbon. Miriam is survived by her daughter Debbie Duvall; grandsons; Edward (Seth), and Matthew Windstein; brother, Richard J. Hampton, Sr. (the late Sydney & Jackie). Miriam was also preceded in death by her parents, Agnes Catherine Volz Hampton and Ernest J. Hampton and brothers, Ernest J.(Rita), Oswald, and Jerry C. Hampton. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Sylvia and Patty, and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews.

She was a former parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus, St. Antony of Padua and St. Philip Neri Churches; she served as a Minister of the Eucharist at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Mercy and Hotel Dieu Hospitals.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass to be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 A.M.
