Richard Runnels

Richard Runnels passed away at home on Monday, June 14, 2010. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Martin Runnels; two sons, Richard and Mark Runnels; one daughter, Robyn Runnels Marques; two daughters-in-law, Jeannine C. Runnels and Heather White Runnels; one son-in-law, Christopher B. Marques; two sisters, Sandra Runnels Martin and Claire Runnels Alvarez; and five grandchildren, Joshua and Noah Marques, Justin and Jessica Runnels, and R. J. Runnels. He was preceded in death by his mother, Flora S. Runnels, his father, Hardin R. Runnels, and his brother, Hardin R. Runnels, III. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 12:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.
