Ronald Joseph Dewhirst has entered the arms of his beloved Savior on September 15, 2010 at the age of 58. Loving husband of the late Mary Taylor Dewhirst. Beloved father of Martha Nell Dewhirst and Joseph Michael Dewhirst. He was born on November 29, 1951 in New Orleans to the late Nell Morris Dewhirst and Joseph John Dewhirst. He is also survived by his two loving sisters, JoNel (Paul) Savoy and Lynn (Ed) Blalock, nephews Beau and Brad Blalock, nieces Claudette Savoy, Laurie Jones and Lacey Ivey. Ron was proud to have served in the United States Marines. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. “May he find peace with his heavenly Father “.
