Rufus Emmett Berry

He was the son of the late Charles Henry Berry and Carrie Hood. He was the brother of the late Charles Berry and Margie Berry Mann. A sister, Elma Berry McCauley, survives him. He was a native of Notasulga, Alabama and came to live in New Orleans in 1951.

He married the love of his life, the late Bettye Dunn Berry. His son Stephen Rufus Berry, (wife Iris), survives him. He had two grand- children, Stephen Rufus Berry, Jr. (wife Christine), and Jacqueline Berry Donnelly, (husband Eric) and one great-grandchild, Isabel Piper Berry.

He worked for 30 year as an Accountant at Kaiser Aluminum.

The family of Rufus Berry invites all his friends and family to join us in a memorial service on Friday, October 28, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Schoen Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans.
