Shirley Goebel Housey

Shirley Goebel Housey passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late William T. Housey, Sr., mother of William T. Housey, Jr. (husband of Shirley Housey), Carol Housey Bennett (wife of Allyn Bennett), Robert F. Housey (husband of Anne Housey), Bruce P. Housey (husband of Julie Housey), Paul J. Housey (husband of Kathleen Housey), and the late Donald J. Housey, sister of Frederick Goebel, Jr., Gloria Goebel and the late Lester Goebel, daughter of the late Lillian Sutton Goebel and Frederick Goebel, Sr. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Shirley was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Lakeview for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass to be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. with visitation at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 A.M.
