Virginia Gifford Kennington

Virginia (Ginny) Gifford Kennington, age 93), passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at 4:20 A.M. Beloved wife of the late Arthur S Kennington, loving mother of Karen K. Bejma, mother-in-law of Stanley M. Bejma; grandmother of Jill J. Chadwick, Roxanne R Bejma, and the late Stanley (Chad) Chadwick, daughter of the late William H. and Hellen Budlong Gifford, sister of William (Bill) Gifford, Jr., and the late Alfred (Bud) Gifford, Anna Stewart, Flo Stiles and Evelyn Boudreaux; nieces, Diedra Boudreaux, Helen Boudreaux, Marsha Spilmann, and Janell Gifford; nephews Craig Stewart and Craig Gifford. Ginny was a charter member of the Krewe of Isis, a member of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, and a volunteer for over 23 years at East Jefferson Hospital.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be at Garden of Memories Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. and on Thursday after 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
