

Donald H. Liddell, age 87 of New Plymouth died peacefully Sunday July 16, 2017 at his home in New Plymouth. His funeral will be Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 10 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Plymouth. Interment will follow at Park View Cemetery in New Plymouth. Friends may call Wednesday July 19, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in New Plymouth. Condolences may be made to Donald’s family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Don was born in Wendell, Idaho, to Willis James Liddell and Bernice Adelia (Cazier) Liddell. He has lived in New Plymouth for the past 53 years.
He graduated from Homedale high school in 1948. He spent a few years in the army stationed in Alaska. In 1955 he married Blanche Irons in the Idaho Falls LDS temple. He spent most of his career farming and operating a dairy. Don enjoyed aviation, baseball, and farming. His pride and joy, however, was his family.
He leaves his wife of 61 years, Blanche (Irons) Liddell; his son, Jim Liddell and his wife Gwen (Goehring) Liddell; his daughter, Lorrie Cable and her husband Lyle Cable; his daughter, Tammy Sutherland and her husband Alden Sutherland; his son Terry Liddell; his brother, Harold Liddell; 22 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren.
