My deepest condolences to the family. I feel very fortunate that I was able to spend many hours with Kirk at IMC. What a beautiful man and an amazing family. I am very sad that I wasn't able to say goodbye when he left our care. Kirk will always be remembered with great fondness on our floor.

Loretta, Les & Mindy (kids and grandbaby)-
Literally since I heard the news that we were sending Kirk home my heart has been very heavy. I've walked around many days questioning everything I did as one of his nurses over the last 6months, replaying memories I had with him and stories that he shared with me; I've been trying to answer why he had to go?! Truth is we may never know why God takes the best ones home. I do know that it was with great pleasure that I was able to care for such an incredible soul. I'll never forget you Kirk, you were taken far before your time. You are part of our family here on T10 at IMC and part of us is with you and your family at this difficult time. God bless you all!

My favorite Memory with Kirk was the day he took My son Brett and I deer hunting. He decided to take his dirt bike and so he put Brett on the back . Brett was maybe 12 at the time. He told him to hold on and not let go. away they went racing around the hill and Kirk spots some deer. They take off like a bullet and they are headed for the wire fence. Kirk yells duck and he lays down that bike and slides right under it and doesn't miss a beat. They got around those deer and got stopped and got Brett a good shot and he got his deer. Made this momma's heart almost stop. I would not of believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Kirk was so excited that day and was smiles from ear to ear. At the end of the day Kirk found us both a deer. He loved to hunt and love to ride those dang bikes he was excellent at both. Thank you Kirk for taking us on a wild ride... Miss you already!

I had the privilege of caring for Kirk in the hospital. He was so kind, and so tired. I’m sad that he’s gone so soon but glad that he doesn’t have to be tired anymore. My last encounter with him was the day before he left the hospital the last time and he gave me a fist bump. Godspeed Kirk.

Kirk was such a great man. He had so many wonderful memories to share with the hospital staff. I took care of Kirk many nights, and got to know him well. We all got to love him like family. My condolences go out to his family, for losing him too soon. You were all the light of his life!

I remember when Kirk moved to Buhl, back when we all hung out at the pool during the summer. He was such a cutie and all the girls had crushes on him. He was a really great kid.
When we were in high school he was always a smiling face and I can still see him running down the halls because he was talking and late for class.
I have a picture of him and Mindy from our senior prom. They were really fun to hang out with back then.
My heart is heavy for his family. I didn't stay in touch and so in my mind he will forever be that spirit filled-forever smiling young man.
Prayers to his family.

I (Angie), first remember meeting Kirk when his youngest son Corby was in my classroom as a fourth grader. Meeting parents isn’t always the easiest thing to do, but his friendly smile and easy going demeanor made it a breeze. That same year our air conditioner went out just as school ended. We called up Kirk and he fit us into his schedule and went above and beyond working with Chris to install a central heating/cooling unit that had been given to us by a friend and charged us very little. Chris and him hit it off instantly and spent the time working together sharing hunting stories. From then on when we ran into him anywhere, Chris and he would pick up where they left off. We were blessed to be touched by his kindness and friendly soul-he will be missed. We pray that God will bring you comfort and peace in the days ahead❤️🙏🏻

We have great memories of Kirk.....the neighborhood kids all showed up with shovels and all sorts of tools to make a "motocross track" in the vacant field behind our house for their bicycles!! They spent days constructing and making the jumps! Although many years have passed since those carefree times our boys spent together, thinking of those days always bring a smile to my face. To Les & Loretta, Bobbi, Scott, Mindy & Kirk's 3 sons, our heartfelt condolences are with you today and the coming days! We are so very sorry for your loss......
