Xerin Daniel Frates

Xerin Daniel Frates went home to be with Heavenly Father Monday, Nov. 13, 2017. He was 14 years old and a freshman at New Plymouth High School. Xerin was active in the high school band, Boy Scouts of America, and in the LDS Church. He was a talented clarinet and piano player. He also loved to be outdoors, camping, chasing lizards, hiking, picking wild edibles, and hanging out with his family. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Kaylena (Beus) Frates; his brothers, Dennis, Dale, Qaden, and Benjamin; his sisters, LyKae, Zandria, and Elyza. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Kathlynne Beus; paternal grandparents, Rick Frates and Lynae Mitchell Frates; and too many cousins, aunts and uncles to list. He is preceded in death by his uncle, Dale Beus and his maternal grandfather, Paul Beus. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 20th at the LDS Church in New Plymouth. Services are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, New Plymouth. Interment will follow at Park View Cemetery in New Plymouth.
