

Annie Joyce Smith also known as Ann, Moewa, Meemo and Grandma was born on January 25,1931 to Les Smith and Buelah Pat Smith (nee' Brown) in Smith County (Taylorsville )Mississippi. She was 1 of 7 children. She had 3 sisters; Jossie, Sarah Jane, and Celeste and 3 brothers; George, Walter (Otha), who have predeceased her except the youngest Sammy, who is still alive and resides in Las Vegas Nevada.
Annie left school before HS and was married to William Quitman Ducksworth. She had three children. Two of which have predeceased her one son and the only daughter, leaving the surviving son of Willie Smith the oldest, Kathy Smith (deceased) and the youngest, Billy Roy Smith also deceased.
Once leaving Mississippi, Annie moved to New Rochelle NY to seek out work. At the time of her death, Annie was retired, but worked for many years as a Framer at Art-O-Rama in Pelham NY and as a Home Health Aide for an agency also in Pelham NY.
Annie was loved and adored by all who knew her. She loved working on her plants, completing crossword puzzles, and listening to the Blues.
Annie is survived by her oldest son Willie Smith. Grandchildren; Kenneth C. Flowers, Keith Davis, Keith Arrington, Stephanie Davis, Shelby Smith-Brooks, Rahsaan Davis, Anthony Smith, Shawnta R. Smith, Marisa Smith, Efrem Smith, and Trevor Smith.
Great Grand children: Amber Livermon, Kenneth Hairston, Rahsaan Davis Jr. Kya James , Latika Hairston, Charliece Brooks, Amani Shelton, Tremere Smith, Dasia Davis, Skylar Flowers, Bria Smith-Haughton, Reyden Rashaan Davis, Natane' Smith, and Ejay Smith.

She is also survived by a God-Daughter Alicia Judge and a host of nieces, nephews, all of which include great/great-great, and many more "adopted" family members!
