

Domenic Borello, a New Rochelle resident and formerly of Pelham passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011. He was 87 years old. He was born in New York on January 22, 1924 and was the son of Carmelo & Angelina Benedetto Borello. Domenic was a machinist and had owned the Diemesh Corp in Mt. Vernon for many years. He had invented and patented numerous inventions one being the electric car back in the early 1970’s. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and enjoyed boating and dancing. He was predeceased by his two sons Carl and Paul, 3 sisters and a brother. Domenic is survived by his loving daughter-in-laws Kathy & Mary, his grandchildren Greg, Deirdre and Kathy, his great grandchildren Joseph and Angelina and his sister Josephine Villata and many nieces and nephews. Visiting on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. with a 10:00 a.m. Mass on Thursday at St. Catherine’s Church in Pelham followed by the interment in the Calverton National Cemetery.
