I'm Sorry to learn of Joan Goldstein's passing.  I remembered seeing her at folk music events and at folk dance weekends with her daughter, Betty Goldstein.  I remembered her playing the guitar too. The younger generations of my family, who never met you, all know you through your often repeated, wonderfully corny, interactive jokes. I will always remember you for your spirit, infectious enthusiasm, and your ability to make the tone-deaf believe they can play musical instruments and even sing.
