John "Jack" A. Hennessy, formerly of New Rochelle, passed away Thursday November 7, 2013. He was 78 years old. Jack was born in New Rochelle on November 21, 1934 and was the son of Thomas F. and Margaret Cox Hennessy. He was a copy editor for the Dow Jones NewsWire and an Army Reservist. Jack is survived by his daughters Cathy & Jill Hennessy, his son-in-law Jason Iwanesky, granddaughter Anika Hennessy Iwanesky, his sister Sherry Plevretes, and his two brothers Donald and Robert Hennessy. Besides his parents, Jack was predeceased by his sister Margaret A. Syska and brother Thomas F. Hennessy Jr.
