Lillian Smith

Lillian Irene Smith, Sister – Aunt – Friend a fighter to the end, was called to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Lillian was born at home on December 24, 1936 to the late Paul C Smith Sr. & Mabel E Norton Smith. She is also predeceased in death by brother, Paul C. Smith Jr. and sister, MaryAnn Scheidt. She is survived by her brothers: John J Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio and George N. Smith (Stella), of New Rochelle, NY. and a sister, Kathryn M. (Charles) Green of Kutztown, PA. She will also be sorely missed by 17 nieces & nephews and 26 great nieces & nephews. Lillian was employed as a bookkeeper at Talner Jewelers for the last 35 years. She had been previously a bookkeeper at Camera Craft in excess of 15 years. She volunteered for many years at New Rochelle/Sound Shore Medical Center. She was an active member of Trinity St Paul’s Episcopal Church, spending many years on various church councils. To honor her wishes and celebrate our love for her there will be a Memorial service at Trinity St Paul’s Episcopal Church 311 Huguenot Street New Rochelle, NY 10801 on Saturday, September 6 at 10:30am.
