Lorraine D. Rauhauser of City Island, New York passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 in the Dumont Nursing Home. She was 83 years old. Lorraine was born on July 17, 1928 in the Bronx and was the daughter of August and Paula Wettendorf Buschmann. She was the devoted wife of Arthur and loving mohter of Karen Nani, Eric Rauhauser and her son-in-law Paul. She also was the proud Mimi of Roger and Mark Nani and Lyla MacDonald. Those who knew Lorraine knew that she enjoyed sailing and loved the color pink. She was a member of the City Island Yacht Club and the Grace Church where a service will be held on Wednesday.
