Dear Peter's family: You don't know me, but I am a real estate colleague who got to know Peter over the years dating back to his MIT days. I am saddened to hear of his passing, a wonderful, kind gentleman, with a quick wit and humor that I and so many enjoyed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Peter hired me to work for him in 2010. He was the best manager. He was a friend, coach and guide. With a quick wit and good humor, he made every day enjoyable and he will be remembered as a great person dedicated to global real estate and its financial and structural architecture. I will miss him. May his remembrance bring light to all of his family and friends during these shadow days.

I'll always remember your dedication to the bike group. Your scenic rides that I enjoyed so much. The chocolate matzah you thoughtfully  contributed to our Marathon party last Passover. Your humility, love of life and compassion were inspirational. You will be missed.

Passionate about family, cycling, and the cause of the Pan Mass Challenge,and our navigator and north star for the Tour du Jour. Your domestiques on the Tour will miss you greatly.

Peter, I will always remember your extraordinary capacity to make people laugh with a well timed quip, pun or poem.  Anyone who could make ping pong matches between Johnny and I the source of side splitting humor had a rare gift.  I will also always remember the day that you and I rode the NY subway from the northern tip of Bronx to the outer reaches of Jamaica for no reason other than that we both loved trains.  I always greatly admired your intelligence and many extraordinary talents.  Heartfelt condolences from Lynda, Daniel, Sarah and I to Monica, Jeremy, Mandy, Uncle Gerry, Johnny and everyone else who loved you and misses you.
